The redevelopment project for three playgrounds in the Municipality of Thessaloniki is a donation of Stavros Niarchos Foundation to the city of Thessaloniki.

The playground was organized around the theme of “Nature and the Animal Kingdom in the Jungle.” The resulting playing areas are defined within the glades formed in the dense pine grove, reinforcing the natural atmosphere of the park, and the dynamism of the views. The alternation of materials, and the curvilinear engravings, which allude to wild animal tracks or shapes based on their skin’s natural patterns, define distinct playing areas, which form a natural pattern on the terrain.
