The development of the “Master Plan for the Revitalization of the Urban Lakefront of Ioannina and support and management under the Act ‘Resilient Europe – Durable Europe’ in Urbact iii program”, is referring to the lakefront area extending from the edge of Perama, North end, until Vogianou Street, southern end.

The redevelopment of the area aims to be attributed to the city residents and visitors for walking, recreation, sport and cycling, partially limiting, the car use.

The total length of the design area extends at about 7.0 km, while the width varies.
